Government mum on proposed changes to Order of Canada selection

The federal government is providing few details about a proposed overhaul of the way Order of Canada recipients are selected.

Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins co-owner/chairman and Hockey Hall of Fame member, was named to the 2016 Order of Hockey in Canada on Tuesday.

Terry Fox had died on June nine months after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He had died from metastatic osteosarcoma. He had become the youngest person to be named a Companion of the order of Canada.
