PICKLED EGGS RECIPE = So So easy. Take that empty bread and butter pickle jar with the liquid still in it. Hard boil eggs. Peel while still warm. Drop them in the jar and stick them back in the fridge. Enjoy the next day. You can also use the Dill pickle juice too.=====
Kitchen adventures
Into slow cooker: 6 yukon gold potatoes, 6 button mushrooms, half a white onion, 2 carrots (all chopped), 1 quart chicken stock, 4 teaspoons minced garlic, couple shakes of salt and pepper, a dash of red pepper flakes. Put on high for 4 hours (or low for 8 hours). In the last thirty minutes I mixed in half a cup of nonfat Greek yogurt and a splash of almond milk (don’t ask… I was just emptying my fridge at this point). I served it with a French baguette from my favorite bakery.
