If you want more meaningful “homework” for your PK or Kindergarten students, this freebie March Calendar is for you. Students and their families will have fun doing activities such as: • Count by 10s to 50 • Talk to your child about what a pet needs to stay healthy • Look outside for different birds. Draw what you see. • Play dominoes with your child and let him identify the numbers on the dominoes There are two calendars this month, one with a week of Spring Break and one with no break.
Want to make life easy with your kids? My sister Bridget created this schedule which she keeps everyday with her kids. Its the same every week. It details each day's after school activities, dinner and after dinner activities. The kids love it because they always know what to expect. What a great idea!
How to Get Your Kids Out the Door in 30 Minutes or Less: Establish bedtimes, use timers, work backward to build the schedule, post the schedule, have plenty of clocks, plan breakfast, have an after-school routine, a place for everything, establish rewards, lay ou clothes the night before, put what you need by the door the night before.
