This is hands down the best sculpture Ive ever seen. It was done by Bernini sometime around 1622. Apollo, son of Zeus, and god of sun and light (among about a dozen other things) was messing with Cupid one day. Cupid shoots him with one of his famed loved arrows in retribution. Apollo falls immediately in love with Daphne, the nymph daughter of a river god.
