An atom and the debris cloud we know as photons (light). Theoretical Physics, Quantum Physics, Fusion Nucléaire, Hydrogen Atom, Atomic Theory, Quantum World, Quantum Entanglement, Quantum Leap, Quantum Mechanics

What is this? Something in outer space? A galaxy perhaps? Nope. This is an atom. The atom can be referred to in two parts: the nucleus or the electron cloud. The nucleus of a hydrogen atom, when compared to the atom itself, is like a pin compared to a football stadium. The electron cloud, is home to the electrons. Atoms are primarily, 'empty space'.

A single dollop of light, or photon, must be described by a flowing quantum wave that gives the probability of finding it at any particular place and time. Supersonic Shock Waves of a T-38C Aircraft

This schlieren image of a T-38C aircraft was captured using the patent-pending BOSCO technique and then processed with NASA-developed code to reveal shock wave structures. Researchers at Armstrong and NASA’s Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, California, have developed new schlieren techniques based on modern image processing methods.

Fabian Oefner created this by mixing ferrofluid with water color and putting it into a magnetic field. Colored ferrofluid makes such amazing effects. Check out our kickstarter for more information on that!
