ARTLESS Occidental Table is composed of two supremely strong materials: afrormosia wood and stainless-steel bars, pure and simple. While the ½-inch stainless-steel bars connect the 2-inch afromosia boards together to structure the wood top and help attach the legs, they primarily stabilize the wood as it expands and contracts due to changes in weather.

This desk has been inspired by mid-century modern Scandinavian design. Our desk, made of solid oak wood and wood covered with natural oak veneer, has been perfectly finished with hardwax oil.

Inspired by mid-century modern design, the pierced collection is wheel-thrown and hand-pierced stoneware with a satin glaze. Small holes are created when the clay is still wet and then each hole is painstakingly enlarged and smoothed when the clay is bone dry. The tabletop is made of walnut with an oil and varnish finish for durability.
