Bell-shaped figurine  Boeotia, 7th c. BC  Terracotta bell-shaped figurine of a woman with movable legs. The necklace, the pendant and the details of the dress are rendered in paint. Of particular interest is the decoration of the dress which depicts a dance of female figures amidst a wealth of supplementary motifs. Possibly a votive offering, this figurine with its unique decorative motif could be associated with a specific ritual. 7th century BC.  Dimensions: Ht 15 cm
