The Agra Diamond
The Agra diamond derived its name from its first recorded location; the city of Agra, whose other claim to fame is being home to the famous Taj Mahal. The Agra was graded by the Gemological Institute of America as a naturally colored Fancy Light Pink, VS2 clarity diamond. It measured 32.34 carats and was purchased by the SIBA Corporation of Hong Kong, the same company that owns the Allnatt Diamond, for almost $7,000,000.
